5/5 Stars !
Though most of the tales of Mahabharata were known to me , but the way Sir Devdutt presented and linked soo many tales and characters and waived them into the fabric of this saga is great .
The language is simple and the book is divided into small small chapters.
I never knew what dharma and adharma really mean until I read this .
The best thing about the book is that no character is portrayed as hero or villain (unlike the TV series) .. it is really one of the best form of Mahabharata ever published .
Apart of the language , Devdutt included many hand drawn figures between the text .. which is just like cherry on the cake .
And the knowledge boxes at the end of each chapter .. I really don’t have words to describe how good they were ..
No doubt Devdutt put a lot of research into this .
By any means , if you are even a bit interested in Indian mythology , then you deserve this book in your collection.
Happy Reading !
